I am pleased to announce that at its June 18th, 2009 meeting the Business Board approved merit increases for P/M 1-7 and Confidential staff. No decision has been made yet regarding any ATB for 2009-10. For P/M 6-7 the ATB amount is typically incorporated into the merit pool, however, with no decision on ATB, merit calculations will be based on the approved merit only. The pool available for merit increases for P/M 1-7 and Confidentials is 2% of the salary base.

We will be proceeding with the processing of merit pay for P/M 1-7 and Confidential staff effective July 1, 2009. As announced by President David Naylor (PDAD&C memo dated December 12, 2008) members of the senior administration of the University, including staff in P/M levels 8-9, will not receive salary increases this year.
