Re: Launch of 2014 Annual Performance Assessment Process

Further to my message of April 22, 2014, the annual performance assessment process starts this month for all Advancement Professional, Confidential and Professional & Managerial Staff groups, with the Research Associates and Senior Research Associates launching in June.

The respective timelines for each staff group’s processes are available here.

Please review the details carefully to ensure that you understand what information is needed and the deadlines for 2014.

As mentioned, we are introducing all Professional & Managerial Staff, Confidential Staff, and their respective managers, to a new online tool for the 2014 year’s review process, Halogen’s eAppraisal. Advancement Professionals, Research Associates and Senior Research Associates will continue to use the paper performance assessment forms, with plans to move each of these groups to the online tool in 2015.

The software will be available as of May 21, 2014.

Specific information regarding documentation and technical training of this new tool will be sent to the affected employee groups in the next few days.
