I am writing to request nominations and volunteers for the Confidential and Professional & Managerial Advisory Committees.
Role of the Committees
The primary role of the Confidential and Professional & Managerial Staff Advisory Committees is to offer ideas and provide advice and feedback to me in my role as the Vice-President, Human Resources & Equity, bring forward the views and interests of Confidential and Professional & Managerial colleagues on the development and implementation of work-related policies and programs for Confidential Staff and Professional & Managerial Staff and to participate in a forum for consultation on institutional policy and strategic issues that relate to the work of Confidential and Professional & Managerial Staff. The Committees meet 3 to 4 times per year with me and various other representatives from the organization.
We are currently seeking new members as follows:
- Confidential and Professional & Managerial 1-2 Advisory Committee – 1 vacancy
- Professional & Managerial 3-5 Advisory Committee – 2 vacancies
- Professional & Managerial 6-9 Advisory Committee – 6 vacancies
Advisory Committee members serve for 3 year terms, with the terms ending on June 30.
I encourage you to review the Advisory Committee Terms of Reference and to speak with colleagues who have served on one of the committees to hear about their experience as a committee member. Member lists of the current Advisory Committees are available here.

Membership will be selected by my office from among those who volunteer or are nominated by a colleague based on the criteria set out in the Terms of Reference.
