I am very pleased to announce the launch of the Diversity Internship Program in Human Resources & Equity. Since launch in 2016, we have had the privilege of hosting four interns across the Division and I look forward to helping the rest of the HR community welcome next year’s new talented graduates to the University of Toronto.
The Diversity Internship Program will provide a one-year paid position for recent human resources graduates who self-identity as Aboriginal / Indigenous Persons (North America), Racialized Persons / Persons of Colour, and/or Persons with a Disability.
Divisional HR Offices must apply to host a placement, and if successful, are provided central funding (up to 50% of a Confidential-1 FTE) for an internship position for up to one year. This year, there will be two placements available.
Interns will be hired on a term basis into an excluded Human Resources staff position and will be paid no less than the Hiring Rate on the appropriate salary range for a similar excluded human resources position.
