Supporting Employees in All Dimensions of Well-Being

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, many faculty members, librarians, and staff are experiencing stress, isolation, and challenges in balancing their family responsibilities while working from home, all of which are being exacerbated leading up to the holidays.

In light of this, we wanted to remind Deans, Chairs, Directors, and managers about some of the emotional wellness resources that are available to employees at the University. We encourage you to share these resources widely with colleagues in your unit. As you work to implement strategies to best support your colleagues, please explore the ideas, resources, and best practices for wellness during COVID-19 provided by the Division of HR & Equity.

We want to thank our entire community for their incredible work and support throughout what has been an extremely difficult year. During this global pandemic, each of you have risen to the new challenges of working from home, coping with social isolation, caring for your families and keeping you and loved ones safe. Through it all, your level of dedication to the University of Toronto has not wavered. Thank you for all that you do, and we wish you and your families a healthy and restful holiday break.
