The University of Toronto has completed its annual accessibility report for 2015-2016 which outlines progress made under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
The report is available online, as well as in an accessible pdf format. It outlines the progress of the University community with respect to accessibility on all three campuses. Angela Hildyard, vice-president, human resources and equity stated that 2015 was a particularly significant year, as it marks the 10th Anniversary of the passing of the AODA legislation and the year U of T hosted many athletes for the Parapan Am Games. The projects highlighted in the report illustrate the work across all three campuses and focus on accomplishments with respect to the various sections of the AODA and its Standards.
