As of July 1, 2016, the University’s updated Employment Equity Survey is available via Employee Self-Service (ESS).
The Employment Equity survey is entirely confidential and voluntary, and can be completed by faculty & staff online via Employee Self-Service (ESS). You can decline to take the survey in its entirety, or choose to not answer any of the individual survey questions. If you wish, you can always submit a revised response on a later date.

How do I complete the survey?
To access the survey via ESS, log in using your UTORid and password at http://ess.hrandequity.utoronto.ca/.
You can access the survey by clicking the ‘My HR & Equity’ tab within Employee Self-Service. Once you answer your security questions, you will be prompted with a direct link to the survey. You can also access the survey via the ‘Personal Information’ section within the ‘My HR & Equity’ tab. If you require a paper format for accessibility or do not have online access, a paper survey can be obtained at your Human Resources Divisional Office or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
