Long Service Award

Each year U of T hosts the Long Service Awards to recognize employees with 25, 35 and 40 years of service. In 2016, 366 faculty and staff — representing over 10,000 years of service — were honoured for reaching these significant career milestones.

Retirement Reception

The University also celebrates our retiring employees at the annual Retirement Reception. In 2016, 190 staff and faculty members were honoured: 68 individuals have worked at the University for more than 30 years and 19 individuals have been here for over 40 years.
